Combine To Craft Event

Alberta Barley and the Alberta Small Brewers Association came together to highlight all the partners of the barley value chain with the Combine to Craft event, hosted an event during the Stampede at Born Brewing. The event was attended by farmers, brewers, distillers, Alberta Barley staff and representatives and politicians.

Keeping an open dialogue between farmers and politicians is crucial to try and avoid having government policy set without consultation of those it impacts. Alberta Wheat and Barley farmers are continually adapting best management practices that have led to increased soil organic matter and more efficient input use over the last decades.

Alberta craft brewers and distillers are creating jobs, rejuvenating communities. Events like this help make sure that our positive impact is noticed.
